Partida/ Chegada...

E no domingo... lá fomos!

Brunch no Denny's e lá nos pusemos a caminho. Depois de duas horas e meia a andar por lado nenhum chegámos finalmente a Laughlin AFB (Air Force Base).

Primeira impressão: nice!!!

A base é mais pequena que a de Lackland, não tem abechins (os abechins somos nós e uns italianos que também andam por cá) e, como em todas as bases americanas, isto tem quase tudo, banco, supermercado, ginásio e ... sítios para comer "hamburges".

Vou andar esta primeira semana a tratar de papelada e receber material, briefings para a semana e, sexta-feira, devo ter a primeira aula!

And on Sunday... there we went! Brunch in Denny's and there we put to walk. After two and a half hours driving, finally, we arrived at Laughlin AFB. First impression: nice!!! The base is smaller than the one of Lackland, it doesn't have so many foreigners (the foreigners are we and some Italians that also walk for here) and, as in all of the American bases, ithas almost everything, I support, supermarket, gym and... places to eat hamburguers. During this first week I will take care of paper work and receive material, briefings for the second week and, Friday, I should have the first class! We'll see...
